How we sequence a one-bathroom remodel
Everything is selected and ordered before demolition: tile, valve, vanity, toilet, fixtures, and as much of the glass as can be ordered in advance. Nothing starts until the materials are on site or confirmed, so the room is not sitting open waiting on a part.
Where the layout allows, the toilet is reset early so you have a working toilet while the shower is finished. The shower is usually the longest part because waterproofing and tile have to cure between steps.
What you should plan for
We tell you up front how many days you will be without a shower and how many without a toilet, so you can plan around them. Some owners stay with family for those days, some use a gym, and some plan a trip. We will talk through what makes sense before we set a start date.
When to reconsider the scope
